Bollywood was gearing up for the shooting of pending films that put on hold last year due to an outbreak of the Corona Virus Pandemic. Things were getting back normal, but the second wave of this virus has also affected the Bollywood stars and singers. The COVID-19 has hit most of the celebrities this week. The next actor after Akshay Kumar and Vicky Kaushal is Katrina Kaif. The actress informed over her social media account that she has been tested positive for Covid-19.

Katrina Kaif updated about her present health conditions and informed that she has isolated herself and is in-home quarantine now. Like she is taking all necessary precautions and medicines with the advice of her doctor. She thanked all the well-wishers for love and support and said to be safe. Katrina requests all for test who gets in contact with her. And she is following doctor’s advice, for faster recovery from covid-19.

A day before Katrina updated about being positive, Vicky Kaushal also tested positive for Covid-19. The actor was shooting for ‘Mr. Lele’. The other star cast such as Bhumi Pednekar also had mild symptoms and she immediately went home quarantine.

Talking about the work and recent projects on which Katrina is working are Phone Bhoot, Sooryavanshi, Tiger-3, and many others. She was shooting for Phone Bhoot made under the banner of Excel Entertainment. It was ongoing from last year. It is a horror-comedy film, where she will seen with Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She is featured in Salman Khan’s franchise movie Tiger -3. The other big project is ‘Sooryavanshi’. Rohit Shetty movie that was expected to release in theatres on April 20. But looking into the present situation, the makers have announced that it has been postponed.

Bollywood Stars Who Got Covid Positive

Recently many Bollywood stars tested positive for novel coronavirus. On Monday, Akshay Kumar also tested positive and admitted to the hospital. Earlier in March, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali also tested positive. Some of the singers such as Aditya Narayan and reality show “Indian Idol-1” winner Abhijeet Sawant also tested positive for the virus. Most of them requested people who came in their contact to get tested immediately and stay safe. 

Movies that releases on OTT

Most of the movies were rolling this year, but the second wave of the virus has changed things and Bollywood has once again delayed many movies looking into the safety of stars and the crew of the projects. Maharashtra is one of the most affected states from the second wave, where lockdown and night curfew has continued. Movies will be releasing on OTT platforms. Some big movies such as Sooryavanshi are still waiting to hit the silver screen after there is some control over the COVID-19 pandemic.
